Anything with SD Alcohol in it, my hair turns to straw. So no Motions foaming wrap lotion for me.

I love Motions Neutralizing Shampoo and Neutralizing Conditioner, but I have to co-sign on the foam wrap lotion. It is the worse for my hair. Make my hair gummy, sticky and just plain horrible.

Chile...Wave Nouveau is for Scary Curls. If you ain't got no curl, don't give this a whurl! :lachen: Seriously, the stuff will dry out not jherri'd hair. If someone is saying "oh I love it, works for me" all they have to do is keep on using it. It will cease to work....w/ a vengence.

Some of y'all are too young to remember the curl era. People w/o curls thought it would "make their hair grow" and found out otherwise. It wasn't pretty
Yeah I barely remember the "soul glow era":lachen:Thankfully I was too young to get one during its heyday...but I got the suggestion to use it from another member here. She is relaxed, and she loves it...however my hair felt like straw within 30 minutes! I took that mess right back to Sally's!

Giovanni Direct leave in.. I know this was said already but it leaves my hair so nasty! and I only use a little bit.. UGhh.. I purchased like 4 bottles too, lol it was the PJ in me, on my 1st week that I signed up here!

Iris you are crazy...seriously! :giggle: I am sitting up here DYING at the thought of a jherri curl in a white suit. Lawdy. You shoulda know better there. Wisk was NOT gonna get out that "ring around the collar"!! :giggle:

That jherri juice back then was LETHAL, people would just drip. It destroyed any clothes/fabrics/towels it got on. I don't know how they stood it on hot days. They were carrying around their own personal humidifier. LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I don't even know why people were feeling the jherri curl. It looks so...messy. I've seen people with really "juicy" curls run their hand over their hair and have to shake off the excess juice from their hand. Or some juice will run off the curl onto their collars. :nono: How is that a good look?

When my hair was at the height of its jacked upness (top of ear, bone dry, and breaking off to the new growth), my mother suggested I get a jherri curl to help my hair grow. I had to give her the ill side eye, because even my uneducated self knew that the jherri curl was nothing but trouble. :nono:

I normally mix my ORS with either Amla oil or Brahmi oil. I only use coconut oil on my scalp/ends (vatika oil to be exact)

Not to highjack, but what does Brahmi oil do?! I bought it because the store was selling it for 2 dollars because of a Diwali sale, and I love me a sale, but I didn't know what it did. And I've use it every week since, and I still don't know what it does. :look:
