Dryer or Heating (plug in) cap

When you prepoo, do hot oil treatments, or any other treatment that requires heat, but not drying- Do you use a heat cap or a dryer? Does it matter? Is one better than the other? I have both, but I use the heating cap for my DCs. Thanks in advance

I have done both and prefer sitting under the dryer. The heating cap didn't get warm enough for me and my Pibbs does a better job of warming my entire head of hair

I've done both but I like the heating cap..I have a Mastex heat cap it gets very hot...I also like using the steamer for deep cond in the winter
