The only benefit I've ever reaped from dry shampoo was oil absorption; my hair/scalp didn't feel any cleaner though.

@sharifeh. I've tried both powder and the wet spray kind. The powder one made my scalp itch even worse..http://www.lovelyskin.com/details.asp?PID=122911&ref=gbase&gclid=CJzx8-C927cCFc9AMgod530AuQ
It just would feel all irritated and itchy afterwards and my hair didn't really feel cleaner.
I also tried a Batiste spray one and that was icky too. I think it had alcohol so I worried about it damaging my hair.
I gave up on them altogether. I would work on perfecting some kind of wash n' go or braidout/twistout style instead so you can have more scalp cleaning freedom.

Exactly. I agree totally. I think that they are designed to absorb oil and odor which they do beautifully.

The best one I've tried has been Victoria Secret's dry shampoo. I work out each morning and times that I'm in a rush, I spray this on my scalp and go. I wash my hair later when I get home. Works well and smells good.

With as much trouble as normal shampoo gives I dont think this stuff will ever be on my list. Any naturals ever tried it?

You're right I do have to perfect the braid out/twist out for post workout so hard though
I hate washing my hair so often but I also hate having a smelly itchy scalp
