Need help ladies,

I would like to try different ways to set my hair after its been flat ironed... I like the look of braiding it and then letting it loose on dry hair.. Does anyone do this or have pics? I would also like to have loose waves on dry hair would the caruso give me that look? If so how?

Thanks in advance! :)

I always braid my hair after it has dried for a looser braidout. I've never used a flat iron but I rollerset my hair for a similar effect, then when it's dry, I braid it in about 4 braids (plaits).

I also make loose waves with my Caruso (as in my avatar) and it's very quick. As I mentioned in your Caruso thread, I wind my hair in a spiral around each roller and leave it in for about 10 minutes.:)

How should I braid my hair for a dry braid out? I want it to be very loose so I was thinking of doing big french braids all over with rollers on the end???? Ever tried that?

French braids would work. I think that any kind of braid on dry hair will result in a loose braidout. It also depends on how long the braids are left in. For example, I can get a good, loose braidout after braiding my hair on fresh, dry hair for just an hour. I get more definition if I leave the braids in overnight, but it's still loose.

I tried this and I loved the results. I would recomend adding water or gel before braiding to hold the waves. :)
