How do you ladies do a dry roller set on you hair? (And by the way has anyone tried IC Fantasia Extra Dry Leave-In, and if so how did it work for your hair?) Thax for the any replies in advance. :drunk:

I love doing dry rollersets. To me its less manipulation than a wrap. When I wake up and go to work, it looks like I spent time puting a warm curler in my head when really all I did was take out my rollers lol. I finger comb in the morning to take the rollers out and finger comb at night to part, moisturizer, and roller my hair.

Did a dry rollerset the other day as I usually do because I hate doing my hair in the morning before work and curling irons are a no-no. Everyone at work asked me if i visited the hair salon that day.

I rub together my concoction of oils in my hand and rub on hair and/or oil my scalp and dry roller set using medium sized snap on rollers. Comb out in the morning and GO!

I also love dry roller setting over pin curling and curling iron. What I have been doing now is cross wrapping my hair at night and in the morning rolling my hair with flexi rods, taking my shower and finger combing my hair right before I leave the house.

How long does that take you in the morning? It takes me about 20-30 minutes at night . . . .

It takes me about 10-15 minutes.

My schedule is:

6:30 - Walking

7:00 - Put oil on face, run bath water, roll hair ( about 10 rollers), wash face.

7:15 - Take Bath

7:30-8:15 - Get ready for work

8:20 - Take rollers out and go

When I want curls, I set my hair at night with satin covered foam rollers. (My hair is slow to set). I have flexirods, but they are a bit heavy and sometimes leaves my scalp tender in the morning.

I used to use Miss Cool 5-minute set, but I think it's been discontinued and I haven't found anything else that works as well. :( So, I just use a little moisturizing mousse by Motions until I can find a Miss Cool replacement.
