I spend at least 10 hours a day indoors with central air (aka recycled air). Before I leave home I put some oil or Healthy Ends on my ends and put my silk scarf on but around lunchtime my ends feel so funky since I can't wear my trusty scarf at work. My hair is too short (ear length) to put into buns. I want to avoid split ends as much as possible but I feel them creeping up on me. What should I do?

have u tried curl activator?? or a product wit humectants coz my hair's noticably moisturised since startin the s curl activator

i use jojoba oil or healthy ends and they normally last till my next wash. i wash twice a week. maybe you could try sealing the ends. there is a thread on that.

That's what happens to me too, when i wear my hair out. Today i had to keep applying a coat of s-curl activator and some castor oil..It weighed my hair down ALOT but it is still moisturized.

I don't mind if it's weighed down since I slick it back at work anyway. I may try that and see if it works. How much castor oil do you use?

Hi Jazzyfunknastee,

Try this...spritz S-Curl Moisturizer on your ends then follow up with Hot 6 Oil...(or another oil)....

My "ends" are exposed 99% of the day, yet with the above method, I've been able to achieve healthy moisturized ends (that are not weighed down) all day long. I surely hope that it works for u

hey girl

You should try Jojoba oil. Make sure its 100% jojoba found at any health store. They say its the closest thing to the oils your scalp produces

I was just thinking about this. I was wondering if Aloe Vera gel and a few drops of oil would work for daily moisture?? I just trimmed my ends and I would really like to keep them as moist as possible.
