I'm going through that phase in my hair right now and I can't figure it out.
I clarified my hair on sunday after pree pooing with Queen Helen cholesterol mixed with Olive Oil and Coconut oil. After washing I rollerset it, but there was no shine to it and my hair was stiff to boot. (And yes I did use a moisturizing conditioner after my wash).
I'm thinking it could be one of two things:
1.) I switched from Affirm regular relaxer to Mizani, because the affirm made my hair too straight. Now the Mizani seems to wear off much faster, and I feel I need to touch it up already and its only been 5 weeks! With affirm I usually stretch to 10.
2.) The Queen Helen Cholesterol could also be the culprit. I hadn't used it since I was natural. My hair probably just doesn't care for it?
I've tried the whole head baggy at night, but when I take the cap off, its great at first until it dries.
So I'm back at square one. Anyone have any suggestions, or have any of you experienced dryness with Mizani?

for getting all his curl wave pomade and crap all over my brush! That stuff is all darn near petroleum based which is heavier than my natural oils, so in this instance the pree-poo made it worse because of his pomade residue on my hair.
