Dr.Techners as a stimulator?

When I was younger, and had natural hair, my mother would have me and my sister wash our hair with Dr.Techners mouth wash. It stung, but our scalp was extra tingly,clean, and smelled liked pepperment. Do you thing that this may work to get the scalp stimulated?

No! Somebody else posted a thread awhile back about using Listerine as a relaxer base and it burned her scalp something awful. Mouthwash is not a good hair/scalp product. Just say no.

You could get the same effect mixing peppermint oil into shampoo or conditoner, with none of the alcohol or possible stickiness from mouthwash.
