Oh my those ingredients sound down right delicious for the hair. :lick: He has a citrus rinse to that would set this soap off nice...:yep:

Dr. Bronner's Magic Organic Shikakai Conditioning Hair Rinse Citrus -- 8 fl oz

Ingredients: Organic Acacia Concinna (Shikakai) Extract, Organic Citrus Limon (Lemon) Juice, Organic Coconut Acid*, Organic Olive Acid*, Organic Hemp Acid, Potassium Citrate (made with Organic Lemon Juice), Organic Glycerin, Organic Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Organic Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Oil, Tocopherol (Vit. Organic Hair Care in 3 Easy Steps:

1. Shampoo with your favorite Dr. Bronner’s soap. True soaps clean hair well but can leave a tangly look & feel; however…

2. Rinsing with our new Organic Shikakai Conditioning Rinse results in spectacular look and feel! Just stir 1- 2 capfuls of this rinse into a cup of water, close eyes and slowly pour while massaging into hair. Keep hand combing hair until hair feels entirely sleek (~30 seconds). Rinse out well. Repeat if necessary in extra hard water conditions or with longer hair.

3. After drying lightly with a towel, massage in Dr. Bronner’s new USDA Organic Leave-In Conditioning Crème for added silkiness and softness.

I got it because I think I saw someone on YouTube use it... can't remember.

I got the TeaTree one. Its in the orange bottle. I saw peppermint there but got the teatree cuz I was going to use it on my son's skin and scalp.

It cleanse very well. So well that I use it to wash my hands, body, dishes everything. I only used it once to clean my hair then I started a strictly no poo. I washed my son's hair with it and it worked beautifully. His locs didn't feel stripped just clean.

TQ

...looks like I'll be in Target tomorrow. I love Dr. Bronner's Liquid soaps so I'm sure I'll love this too.

I use this and LOVE it. It cleans your hair, lathers well, and your hair feels soft and not stripped afterwards. I can run a comb through my 4a/b hair after using this stuff. I have the peppermint and lavender. I stopped using my peppermint because the peppermint oil was too invigorating for the winter. I also think this stuff lasts a lifetime because you only need a pump or two for a section (washing in 4 sections). The lemongrass smells like lemon meringue, I wanted to buy it but they only had the very large one (I was broke).

I bought this after a few naturals recommended it on youtube. They sell them at whole foods as well.

I got the lemongrass one (the large one in the pump bottle) from Target after hearing youtubers rave about it. I didn't get good results at all. :nono: I couldn't get a good lather, and I ended up with hair that felt stripped...and is the liquid supposed to be that dark? If any of you have advice on how to use it, that would be great. If not, I will definitely be giving away the bottle on a product exchange thread.

I'm going to get the rinse and the 24 oz tea tree from VitaCost, sounds like an excellent staple to have. They have a baby one also that I'm tempted to get, it must be the mildest of all his formulas...

Wow. My experience was the opposite of yours. The lavender and peppermint lathered up so well, I thought it was concentrated. I do not prepoo either but my hair was still soft afterwards.
Perhaps the other formulas work better than the lemongrass. I really wanted to try this one but probably will not. I suggest you try the peppermint, thats the one youtubers were raving about. And yes, mine is also very dark.

I dilute my poos anyway, this stuff would last me for 2 years. Like I need that with my PJ self...

i will have to go back and get it. it was on clearance at target for 7 dollars and some change for the really large bottle. they had the unscented baby formula and the peppermint one.

I pick the Organic Fair Trade Shikakai Soap. Its not specific on how to use it. It has more Shikakai in it then the rinse. Gonna try it tonight. Wish me lick.
