the only difference I believe is that after the rollerset they will either wrap you hair or blow it out

Doobie is more bouncy and blow out is more str8

Well, I shall soon find out. This time I did not have them blow out the roots prior to my doobie. So, when i take my hair down I will see if it still comes out as smooth and bouncy like it did the last time.

LOL.. I saw the subject and I thought you were talking about something else..LOL

I agree

From the way that I understand(Correct me if I am wrong), a doobie is when your hair is set with rollers and then before it is completely dry the rollers are taken out and your hair is wrapped. This gives your hair more volume. The finished product is a bouncy, full wrap as opposed to a flat wrap.

It seems like when I got a doobie at a black salon my hair had so much volume b/c it's so thick. The blowout from the dominicans is what made my hair bounce and blow in the wind.
