Okay I am new to LHCF and have been learning some great tips, but I was just wondering what were your thoughts on the hair oil and there other products?

Doo gro mega thick hair oil thoughts?

I use that in my mix of oils and my MT. It seems good and it has a lot of beneficial oils in the ingredients.

I have been using it for like 3 years now, probably the longest I've used one single product. I can't say that it grows it real fast but it definitely thickens it up quickly.

Yeah I agree....I've been using it for about a month and I can tell the difference in thickness in my sparse areas in my crown.

i use it, but havent used it long or often enough to really notice any thickening results, but it does make my hair and NG feel really good.
the ingredients are:
Soybean Oil, Soy Methyl Ester, Sweet Almond Oil, Oat Extract, Oat Protein, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Shea Butter Extract, Fragrance, Propylparaben, BHA, Tea Tree Oil, Retinol Vitamin A, Ergocalciferol Vitamin D, Tocopherol Vitamin E, Matricaria Extract, Goldenseed Extract, Hops Extract, Soap Bark Extract, Cherry Bark Extract, Calendula Extract, Henna Extract, Horsetail Extract, Safflower Oil

I have been using doo gro growth oil for years and it works. I usually use it when i go without wearing my bonnet and my edges rub out. However..I am anti-mineral oil now so I don't use the growth one anymore. The Thickening one has no mineral oil according to one of my hair sistas so I'd use that one if needed.

I love it. I've used it and have not been without it for over a year now. It's softening for sure, and grows my sparse hair line back anytime i get too overzealous with the bunning too tight. I use the formula without mineral oil as indicated earlier in the thread.
I used the one with mineral oil once as a prepoo and my hair was DUMB SOFT!

I just bought this recently. I had a crazy tangle episode, applied this Doo Gro Oil overnight, then applied some Just For Me Detangler, and together the two were butter! I think I've found my ideal detangling product combination. The true test is to try it on both my daughters' heads!

I used to use this like crazy before coming to LHCF. I think I'll use my remaining bottle on the next wash as a HOT.
