I'm not sure how many of you have tried the Optimum Salon Repair Intensive Reconstructor... But if you have weak, damaged, brittle, and/or traumatized hair this is a god-send. It is a protein conditioner, just to give you all a heads up.

I've had a bottle of this stuff in my stash for about a year and a half. I bought it on clearance and never got around to using it. Big mistake. I finally decided to use it about 2 weeks ago, and let me tell you -- this stuff is the TRUTH!

After I washed my hair, I applied it and left it in for about 10 minutes. It's the consistency of setting lotion, just to let you all know. I washed it out, and then slathered on my regular ABBA conditioner.... So after rinsing that out I combed through my hair to start the detangling process, and not one single hair broke off. Not even half of one!

I usually shed broken hairs majorly, but since adding the Salon Repair to my reggie, my mom and DH haven't been dusting spare hairs off my back and shoulders! Yeah, my shedding was that bad. My hair is stronger and holds moisture a lot better.

So, after 4-5 uses now, I can officially say that I am a fan. And I hear the other products in this line are just as good.

Yes this is an excellent protein treatment. Thanks for reminding me about it.

Is this the one in the gray and bottle with the green (teal) cap. If so, I have it and kinda put it to the side. I may have to revisit this.

Yeah thanks for reminding me of this stuff, I have the poo and condish and when I go through my products I always read the benefits of the condish but my regime consists of Nioxin and Aphogee this month so it always gets pushed to the side, maybe I need to rotate between the Optimum and the Aphogee, thanks girlie, you're the first person on this site that Ive seen mention this product:yep:

Yes, it has a greenish teal top on it. I bought mine on sale at Sally's some time ago. I've been looking for more as well, but I think I'm gonna end up buying it online.
