thank you! it's BSB now. i decided to grow it out in 2010. it should be longer, but i can't keep the scissors away.

Doggone shame some folks need to be told this! This older lady told me that a girl shouldn't get a relaxer until after she starts her period or at least 13 years of age.

Done! I didn't get a relaxer until I was 18 years old and could pay for it myself! It was the one good thing my mom did for me regarding my hair.

I used to work at a kids modeling agency and this one lady came in with a four year old in long thigh-length box braids extensions. The kids edges were almost completely gone. It was a shame.
