:::Don\'t be Cheap:::

I know there is a lot of talk about slip and I just wanted to point out that when applying a conditioner to comb out hair dont be cheap with the application put MORE THAN a teaspoon of conditioner in you palm.
Try and full up the WHOLE palm, twice

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

Unless someone has really short hair, I can't imagine anyone using just a teaspoon of conditioner.

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

I am sorry but I used to do this to save on the conditioner.

Me and my cheap butt, but no more!

Me either.

I section my hair so I can make sure all of my hair is well coated with conditioner. It takes some time, but hey, it works. And I use more than a teaspoon.

A Teaspoon???

I think the main question with slip I have is with Leave in conditioner. Some are too thick, others are too watery, but I thought most people would just use more in the shower if thats when you wanted slip.

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

I use TONS of conditioner for my conditioning washes and that's why I'm glad to use cheap products for those. I have a few deep conditioners (LUST & Skala) that seem to penetrate quickly and well so that I don't need to use as much but still more than a teaspoon!

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

ME TOO!!!! I use V05 which is .79 so I can use lots and lots and not worry. Even with my good stuff like my dominican stuff, Keracare, or LUST I use an ample amount.

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

I use globs of conditioner too. What ever my hair needs.

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

OKAY OKAY OKAY..I KNOW you were talking to me! I never use a TEASPOON, but I haven't been parting my hair and applying my conditioner to my new growth like I should.. BAD BAD ME! I did it right tonight..I PROMISE! THAT'S probably why my NG has been like a BRILLO PAD lately...:(

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

Im am generous with the conditioner, I think even use way too much.

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

I definitely do not skimp when it comes to conditioner and my hair thanks me for it!

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

ahh shot maybe I was the only one thinking about teh prices on the bottle when I apply conditioner. Like darn this has to last me for a couple of more weeks.
*Note: I was just being sarcastic about the teaspoon.*

Yeah, I know! But a lot of stuff I read on the web says things like a dallop of conditioner. Um, that's not quite enough! I've always used more than the recommended amount! lol

Re: :::Don\'t be Cheap:::

I've been to beauty salons where stylists have told me any more than 1 TBS of conditioner is a waste. Yeah, right--a waste of their product!

For years I believed them and wondered why I always needed more than that at home.
