Hello-

I am new to the whole Dominican "system". A new salon has just opened up in my area. I called them and was told that they have some stuff that they will put in hair for hair growth. It's $10 per treatment and $25 per container. Have you ever tried this concoction? Did you experience any growth?

Questions:

1. Where is the salon?
2. What is the name of the product?
3. Have you seen the product?
4. If so, what are the ingredients?

Good luck on your hair growth/goals journey and welcome! ;) :yay:

probably just a ton of conditioners mixed together. Your hair is growing already and you don't need a growth potion. Just follow the steps on the board if you want to see some results.

Hmmmm, well do you know the name of the product? Ingredients? Did you get to see the container or how it looked?

I've never been to a Domicican hair salon, I wonder what this growth potion is....... sounds interesting. If you get the treatment, I hope it increases your growth. Keep us posted.

Ladies-

Thanks for responding. I haven't been to the salon yet. I am going in about two weeks. I'll keep you posted on the "potion". If it's just a bunch of conditioners, I am going to pass. However, if it is an ointment or grease, I think I will give it a try. I'll keep you all posted. :)

Ladies-

I called the salon today. I was told that the "potion" is a creme. He said they can't keep it on the shelves. It has garlic in it (but you can't smell it) and is called Impaz-Ego. Anybody ever heard of this?

Sounds very much like Alter Ego, which is a conditioner.

Hmmm... I'm interested in learning more.

Where is your salon located?

Thanks! ;)

Hmmm...I've seen these Alter Ego products that say they promote growth. I'd love to hear reviews...when I have money to spoil myself maybe I'll try them myself. They're pretty pricey.

The salon is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. I called again and someone else told me that it is a drop. I am just going to have to go by there and check it out for myself. Anyone familiar with this "drop"?

He also said that there was a conditioner that they use that promotes growth. They put it on for 5 minutes and then rinse.

He may be referring to Alter Ego Cren drops. But you don't have to rinse them, so it may be ALTER EGO LOZIONE RIVITALIZZANTE. Is this the salon I'd written about near Wal-Mart?

Alter ego cren helps to prevent shedding and hair loss. It works for me. $27.

The revitaling drops didn't do a thang for me. and it was $30
