I didn't know there were Dominican relaxers either till i was on ibeautyny.com and saw that Nacidit has some on there...So im sure there are others too

Well, I am Dominican and we don't use it very much, I think Dominican's hair salon don't carry a lot of dominican's relaxer either here in the USA, I guess because we can find better products here. Even over the DR we use Revlon and stuff like that. HTH:)

My old hairdresser I use to go to was Dominican and always brought products back with her when she visited home. On occasion she would bring me some great conditioners  that I would use up quickly then would be frustrated cause I couldn't find them anywhere in the U.S.

Anyway, when I first started going to her should would use Dominican relaxers (of which I can't recall the names and wouldn't help cause probably couldn't find them here). My hair did great with those relaxers. Then eventually she switched over to the usual American brands and I was less impressed.

Nowadays I use Phyto and find it to be just as good if not better!

This is a good thread. Ive beeb using Jael from DR and love it. Hair is so soft , yes after a perm.
I get it from pelobonito.com. Its a level-1 perm.
