Does This Action Count as Co-Washing?

I am adding co-washing to my hair regimen. However, I wanted to know the following: if I wet my hair, apply conditioner (Mane and Tail) and leave it in, does it count as co-washing?

Or, is co-washing simply washing my hair using conditioner only?

A co-wash conditioner should not contain any silicones. If you've been using products with silicones and want to co-wash, shampoo first, stop using silicone-containing products, and co-wash from there.
