I want to color my hair but I do not want something permanent or harsh. Would this even work if I have 1b natural hair??? N is it safe because it is not permanent?

Any kind of haircolor is damaging and harsh because hydrogen peroxide is the main ingredient in the developer for the haircolor. As long as you increase on your protein and moisture treatments you should be ok!

When you mean 1B you mean your hair is naturally black right?? Well if that is the case if you're trying to go jet black then yes it would work. But if you're trying to go lighter, box color will only lift 2 shades and if you're hair is black it will really only lift one shade. The only lighter color you can go with box color (without bleach) is a veryyyyy dark brown. Anything lighter you need to use bleach but in that case it would be best to get it professionally done!

It is safe but will wash out faster than permanent hair color. If you just need a quick color change try wigs or extensions in a color other than black to see if it suits you before putting color in your hair.
I put semi permanent hair color in 2 years ago... its still very much visible and people are still comment on it. Only difference is that it was a bit cranberry looking before but now its faded to a beautiful copper/ chesnut color.
