Does ruin silk scarf to put in the dryer?

Well i did air dry(the silk scarves) as i usually do (i was tired, ready for bed with rollers in hair)
I hate when they start to roll/wrinkle up so i ironed them on a medium heat..and i think there ok. (i hoped i could use the dryer to knock some of them out)They had started to look too tacky for me. If they were old i might not care so much but i got them a couple months ago.
