Does it give a tighter set and is it easier/less time consuming than a regular roller set using magnetic rollers??? Just wondering.

I dunno about using perm rods for tighter roller sets BUT what I do know is that I am patiently waiting on a Fotki update:D

it definitely gives a tighter set than rollers... i haven't really seen many large perm rods, but they are probably out there. i think that they are pretty nice to use because they have that part that is attached that you just clip over to secure, so no pin indentions or anything.

YES! There are large ones. They are a dark, hunter green. I use rods all the time. I love the results. More spiral than a regular rollerset. I love them. I usually use the peach and orange ones. HTH.

I have the larger ones too, but mine are light green.

And yes, to me, they give a tighter set.

This set lasted me a bit longer than 2 weeks (I got tired of it!).

some examples of the sizes. That's funny. The big green ones I have seen in this area are darker green.

Yep, dem is the green ones I got!!:yep:

How do you ladies position the rods in your hair when using them? Same as a regular rollerset or like a flexirod set?

It's more like a flexirod set bellasocialite. They give you more of a spiral look and tend to last a little longer than the magnetic rollers. I used to get them with different styles all the time when I was relaxed.

It's coming soon, I'm finally on summer break and can get back to more important things ...like lhcf and my hair =+). I havent had much progress though, i keep trimming to get a nice look/shape to my hair and yet it continues to grow out awkward/uneven. WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING WRONG
