Does MSM cause breakouts?

I'm taking a 1000 mgs in vegie form.

My face is getting these zits breakouts that come from things I'm not supposed to eat. The only thing different that I've added is the MSM.

Have you experienced breakouts from it and does it go away after a couple of weeks of your body getting used to taking them?

I think initially when u start using msm it will detoxify you. so yes you will have breakouts that should clear up with continued use. dont forget to increase your water intake to get rid of toxins. hth

Are you taking Biotin too? I know it does...

I read that several of the ladies have suffered from breakouts. This is one of several threads dedicated to the side effects of MSM: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=79447. Perhaps there is some information in the thread you can use to decrease the breakouts.
