Does Lotrimin work for the MN growth as well?

Hey y'all,

I can't believe I am considering this. Does anyone know if Lotrimin AF (clotrimazole) cream can be used as MN is?

As long as it has Miconazole Nitrate, that's what MN is. Just check to see if that ingredient is present. HTH

Clotrimazole works, too. Any of the 'azoles work. Look at the active ingredient in Nizoral, some people use that for faster growth. It has ketoconazole in it.

Also, I don't think it hurts to try it. At least it will help you see if it works for you or not. I don't use it now because getting faster growth just does not work for me. But when I did use it, the growth rate was

How often were you using it? What cream did you use?

I tried using Monistat and didn't see really any great results. I mixed it with some hair grease, maybe I used too much hair grease and not enough MN. I have heard a lot of people rave about it.

I tried several different ones until I settled on using the DermaDoctor Feet Accompli cream. All the others were too drying for me. The DermaDoctor cream was moisturizing and worked well for me.

I used it every other day at first, when I was using Neosporin AF and 1st trying it out. Then I started using something by Lotrimin I think. It did have clotrimazole in it and worked just as well.

When I started the Derma Doctor, I was using it only 2 times a week or so. I was starting to realize that I was not that into the faster hair growing and then shortly after just stopped using it all together.

I used it for a total of 3 months off and on. Honestly, it does give faster growth but, for me, not more than 3 or 4 weeks faster than normal when I used it. What is that a extra few inches a year? Not that much worth it I decided.

I would say yes - maybe a little less. I think if I had used it for a longer time, I would have been able to give a better inch status.
