For me, going to a salon definitely makes my hair grow faster. BUT they always chopped it off, so I never got the chance to retain length after 5years. i just can't figure it out, or understand why, but i do notice that my newgrowth comes in faster when i go regularly. I dont know if it's the high heat, or the massage, or what??? I probably will start going regularly next year (too lazy now), and just be sure no one cuts my hair....
