Does Ateeya have the most subbies for a black woman whose theme is hair care?

^ Why is that so funny? There are plenty of women of all races with hair like that as well. It really doesnt matter what ethnicity you are if u dont take care of your hair is bound to look a hot mess...

*side rant*

Tired of the stereotype that mixed girls dont have to do anything to their hair but wash it for it to grow to the floor....MOST of us have to work just as hard to get desired lengths. Done with my hard work getting dismissed because im biracial...

I totally agree it is not funny, shes mixed race/bi-racial with damaged hair..what's so funny or hard to believe. Of all the places why would we ridicule someone with damaged hair

Sent from my GT-I9000 using GT-I9000

she (BeautyCrush) made an install video and showed her hair and i was like :nono:
I would love her to join LHCF...i hate seeing girls with damaged hair that RELY on weaves like that's their only solution (to hide it behind a weave). I nicely commented that she should remember to take care of her hair while in a weave :o

I knew I wasn't the only one. I notice so many subscribers will be quick to lay on the compliments when the new hair cut/style/or weave isn't that great, but I don't mess with YT comments like that, they'll cut a **** on there.

What is so funny to me is this stereotype of what mixed hair is ''supposed'' to look like same way i would laugh at the stereotype of blacks liking certain foods i laugh and KIM

I have already said on this forum looser so called mixed textures (on this forum lots of people think anything higher than 4a means mixed)have to work at their hair like everyone else

Black white mixed whatever her hair is a mess

^ u dont have to backpaddle from your statement...i just wanted to let you know that it was offensive. Maybe i missed this and correct me if i'm wrong but are we not supposed to uplift women of color towards healthy hair care practices instead of laughing at the mixed girl with jacked up hair?

you stated why is that so funny? i told you why it is to ME how is that backpaddle

If its offensive to you ok if its offensive to you i laughed at her messed up hair she put up in a public video shrugs to that as well

Im not going to put up a yt vid of my messy doo-doo plaits and not expect people to laugh at me and my hair

It's alot of people who have hair like BeautyCrush. It's only on internet hairboards where folk act like black women and especially mixed race black women have long flowing swinging hair. I have known quite a few mixed race women with jacked up hair. And *gasp* there are even white women with damaged jacked up hair too.

No, you laughed at all the mixed girls in london with jacked up hair...and they're not the ones in a public video. It was offensive to all the women that thanked my post as well...not trying to have a "thread war" you made an ignorant statement, I noted my offense now lets KIM.

Someone needs to send her a link to LHCF or one of the other hair boards. :/ I like her makeup though -- very simple and pretty. *Off to watch makeup vids*

I keep telling myself I need to get on that youtube money! I just don't have the right quality camera to do it big like the gurus. I'd love to start my hair journey and share what I do to make it from my current length (about APL) to MBL. I know I'm going to get there eventually.
