Does anyone use sillicones and clay/mud washes ?

Just wondering. A lot of the mud wash companies say you have to "detox" your hair off of synthetic ingredients.

i thought the whole point of detoxing the hair and using the mud wash was to make a switch to more natural alternatives. if this was my method to cleanse i would only use cones when i used heat to blowdry and flat-iron my hair straight.

Yes that's what it says, but I'm looking at it as like a co-wash or something to use between shampooing.

I used to do what you mentioned and only use natural products, but I'm just switching it up right now.
