i just brought this stuff yesterday after reading the indgredients, the first 2 are water and coconut milk and i have a few questions.
1. does it provide both moisture and hold, without making hair hard?
2.does it build up without shampoo?
3.will it wash out my hair easily with just conditioner and water?
thanks!

1. it doesn't really make your hair hard, but I wouldn't define it as moisturizing either.

2. it didn't cause hard build up for me, I left my twists in for 5 days and had a twist-out for two days.

3. I don't know about this because since it had been a week with it in I used shampoo instead of con-washing.

1. hold yes...moisture, i dunno....but it doesn't make your hair hard
2. It can if you are heavy-handed. I used shampoo when I washed my hair because I wasn't rinsing my twists everyday.
3. I don't know...I usually shampoo after wearing twists because I get buildup regardless of what I use if I wait a week between washings.

I used to use it before I discovered Black and Sassy Creme set and Salon Selectives Control Putty. When I used it, I still had a perm,so it did not do as I thought it would, but now since I am natural, I need to give it another try.

1. Yes
2. Yes but then again everything builds up without shampoo
3. Yes

Sassygirl uses this and likes it. You may want to PM her.

I used it just to practice two strand twists and I've used it to smooth my hair back into my bun but I mixed it with other products too.

I use this whenever I twist or tighten my friends dreds, it works great gives a really nice shine. It doesn't really moisturize though but it does provide a nice hold and it also doesn't flake, get hard and washes out super easily unlike bees wax or black gel.

I use this and I really like it. I am in the process of transitioning. I think it moisturizes especially if the hair is wet( at least in my hair it does). It does not make my hair hard. And it seems to rinse out easy. One thing I noticed is that if I use another product in my hair at the same time it will flake up. I also really like the Black N'Sassy creme set(I think this stuff is GReat).

I dunno if I used it wrong, but I used it while i had those kinky twists in my hair. It made my hair look very nice and crisp....but it locked my hair together....it took me 3 hours to try to detangle my hair and savage the remaining hair :wallbash:

1. does it provide both moisture and hold, without making hair hard?

It's not ultra moisturizing, but it does make your hair feel more moisturized than a regular gel would. It provides pretty good hold. I've used it on my 12 week post unruly edges and this tames them like a pro :yep: I've also used it on my dh for his two strand twists and it holds them for weeks

2.does it build up without shampoo?

If you use a lot, yes, it will build up after a few uses without washing

3.will it wash out my hair easily with just conditioner and water?
thanks!

Yep, it shouldn't be a problem getting this out of your hair. Since it doesn't dry all super hard, you could just rinse really well and then co-wash

HTH!!
