Does anyone use Aveda ?

I went to their store and the stuff smells great I was thinking about trying the Clear or the black mal.. shampoo and conditioner. I just wanted to know how soft it leaves the hair and if it's any good.

I use their sap moss shampoo , sap moss concentrate and sometimes the sap moss condtioner. I also use the brilliant on my kids hair occasionaly. I love the woodsy smell of sap moss!

i stopped using aveda when i found out that the shampure shampoo and conditioner i was using had a ph of 7! so even though it smells great, I had to stop using it. the sap moss made my hair smell great, that was about it. make sure you call and find out what ph of the products you intend to buy.

Hi Lucia -- The Aveda Sap Moss Shampoo and Leave-in Elixirs are two of my staple products..
I also like the Anti-Humectant pomade. I've tried other products from their line, but nothing else has really stuck with me for me to re-purchase..

I dont use it as much now but when I was relaxed that was all I used... I still own the sap moss shampoo, deep conditioning hair revitalizer, anti-humectant pomade, universal styling creme, scalp remedy and the curessence. Those were all things that were staples and kept my hair healthy and strong.

What did you use the anti-humectant pomade for? As a moisturiser or a heat styling pomade?

I used to the anti-humectant as a moisturizer. I'd put it on my hair throughout, after I finished blowdrying my hair and before I curled it and then a couple of times a week though I probably should have used it more. I think it keeps hair from frizzing b/c I never had a frizzy problem.

I was thinking about maybe changing shampoo/conditioners but if there is a pH issue, I just may stay with what's been working for me because I don't want to mess my hair up now.

LOve Aveda products used Sap Moss shampoo and conditioner and the Brilliant styling cream. Recommend the styling cream highly because it has good ingredients for our hair.
We have 4a-4b hair bra strap length.
