DOES ANYONE TAKE SILICA FOR HAIR GROWTH?

I bought silica with horsetail because I wasn't able to get to the store that sells biotin. I bought 10 mg capsules. Those who take silica, do you think it works as well as biotin? How much do you take?

I used to take it. I was taking 2 pills a day. When I first went to GNC to get my Biotin, there was a little older Spanish lady working the register and she said oh you're trying to get your hair to grow? I see you looking at Biotin. And I said yeah. She said try the Horsetail. The silica will help your hair. So I bought it and I was pleased. There's a few people on this board who got amazing progress with it too. RootDeep and Reniece are the only two I can think of right now though.
