Does anyone still use Mizani products???

I still use the sensitive scalp rhelaxer for at home. It is the one that this hairdresser used on my hair and one that worked awesome for me the first time i used it at home.

I want the thermastrength because it is awesome at making my hair soft after washing but i dont know if i want to pay the $ for it without trying cheaper regimens ( i am new here). this is also stopping me from buying the whole line, I hear you ladies talking about diff types of effective products.

I use the Mizani Regular Lye Rhelaxer, Chelating Shampoo, and Moisturefuse Conditioner. I don't use anything else because it is so expensive for so little product.

I use the Moisture conditioner, Botanifying shampoo and I also have the Therma strength leave-in. I conditioner is moisurizing ( I prefer to use heat with it though), the shampoo is good (not a favorite though), and I do like the leave-in treatment, it does leave the hair really soft.

I basically use the line to rotate with other products, but I prefer Keracare, Kenra, Aveda or Design Essentials.

I also still use it. I like the Kerafuse protein conditioner (which I like as a light protein conditioner) and their glossifer since it's very light. I'm also using their setting lotion, but only until it's gone. I really prefer Keracare's foam wrapping lotion for all sets.

I still use the relaxer and the Shyne (hairsheen). I also use the Moisture Fuse sometimes. The products are ok but I prefer Elucence.

Well when i first joined this site a year ago, I selected all Mizani products (because i researched their site and thought they could offer me what i needed) and I followed the advice here and it took about 5months to whip my hair into shape with considerable improvement. Breakage and shedding stopped. So that is my testimony that the products do work. However, i have experimented with other recommended products on this board, and I now choose them over Mizani simply because they offer detangling properties that i didn't get from mizani. I am still loyal to the shyne oil sheen spray. it is by far the lightest and best smelling sheens i have ever tried. I still occasionally use the botanifying poo. it still is great, especially for newgrowth. though I replaced it with CON as my staple. I still do have the large containers of the moisturefuse, kerafuse, hydrafuse conds. I now use those as pre-poo treatments overnite. they work really well that way. I do not use the puriphying poo or the fulfyl trtment at all anymore. I occasionally use the watery leave-in (i cant recall the name right now). It works in holding curls/straighter hair/drying the hair much faster, but using too much makes my hair harder than what i like. I don't use the night treatment or the H2O moisturizing cremes because they both contain mineral oil and they are a little too greasy for my taste. although they smell very yummy, i am tempted to eat them. I do use them when my hair is super dry and i just slather them on and rock a ponytail/bun... Macherie, i have tried my new keracare bottle and i LOVED the softness... but my hair was dry on day 2....i am praying i can figure out a routine including keracare so i can be in love with it like you and wont have to worry about all this pjism. girl if you got keracare on lock...then mizani can't do nothing for you...

oh yea and i faithfully use their lye regular rhelaxer. it is great. all it takes is 10mins (and a stylist who knows what he's doing) for bonestraight hair. but i am contemplating of trying something else since i do not desire bonestraight hair....

Omigod....NEVER.

Im just always shopping an alternate line for no other reason than I get sick of Humecto's smell every now and then:cool: and need to switch it up.

I was shopping ELucence BUT Im reading that while it moisturizes, you dont get that same BOUNCE. If Im setting my hair for hours, that bad boy betta bounce:mad:

When I relaxed I loved the conditioners. I am natural now so I think for now I will use the products. However I can't review yet because I go to my stylist weekly.

I have the moisturefuse. I used to use the kerafuse. Once I used the kerafuse by itself and my hair felt very stiff then my stylist told me to mix kerafuse with the moisturefuse and it came out wonderful.
I used to put that mixture on after every relaxer and sometimes in between.

The Kerafuse made my relaxed hair silky. I would use the Kerafuse then deep condition with the Moisturfuse.

Now you can do two steps at once (if you want to try it). Mix it until its creamy, it feels great :)

I use their Lye Rhelaxer for Fine/Color Treated hair and I  it

I might try the Butter Blend relaxer by Mizani in october though

I no longer use Mizani products, with the exception of the Rhelaxer.

After two years of using the Mizani products, I have found that, in comparison to other products I used prior to and since, that the Mizani did not perform as well on my hair.

I used to use the moisturefuse conditioner when I could find it at a discount venue, like Value City . . . mostly because it smelled incredibly good, but it was too little product for the money when I compared it to things that work just as well for less.

My stylist uses Mizani relaxer on my hair. I have a lot of their products but I don't really use them any longer.
