Makeup + Bench Pressing
I remember this was the rave a couple years ago......

I picked me up a jar from the BSS today. I tested it out on a couple coilies, and I'm feeling it. Can't wait to test it full force later on tonight.

I tried it before while I was relaxed. My hair was highly overprocessed, so just about everything weighed my hair down. I think I only used up about half a jar.

I am.

The first time I started using it, I wasn't impressed. I pushed the container to the back of the cabinet. One day, I ran out of a creamy moisturizer and remembered the Mango Butter. I pulled it out, used it and was surprised that it kept my hair moist without the usual buildup I experienced before. The key for me was to liquify it and apply to damp hair.

I kept using it until it was all gone and I grew to love it. I am on my 3rd jar. Now, it's a repeat performance for me.

I use it on my ends occasionally. It's really good when I baggy.
I never used it on damp hair. I'll try that next.

I mix it with S-curl and a little coconut oil. It's the only thing that truly makes my hair softer.

This is definitely a good product for my edges, helps me stretch just apply at night and scarf it up over night. Keeps my edges in line!!!:yep:

I am. I just put some on my hair before I signed on to LHCF. I try to remember to use it daily. Then I seal with a castor oil and olive oil mix. I LOVE it.

It's definately a staple for me..I use it mostly when I straighten my hair and I use it on my ends and then use olive oil...it's the best, best, best!!!

I use it on my hair when its curly, but not when its wet. Even when it's dry, I only use very little and then the olive oil...it's nice like that too.

yeas...I heard alot of conflicting reviews on it and then I bought a small jar and I love it. I use it one my ends when I rollerset on damp/dry hair and it it is the best. my hair is mositurized and not frizzy at all. it is a keeper. I will expand my usage to my edges and wash and goes when I get a bigger jar.

It was nice and silky when I first used it. I was really impressed, and the smell is "heavenly!" The following morning I was so shocked that my ends were so dry--bone dry. I said to myself: "What happened to my ends?!" :wallbash: I decided to pour some olive oil in it--which made it better--but I won't be replacing it. Also, it will "mold" :nono:if it sits for a while . . . so it's best to put it in the freezer if you don't use it often--like me.

hmm southerntease gave it a bad review...but from what you guys are saying it sounds like something i would like to try on my hair when it's straightened. where are you guys getting it? i cant find it at wal-mart with the other EQP stuff...the BSS maybe?

and this is why it can be very drying!

I use it when I baggy and also when I am doing a baby puff (second-day hairstyle). I love how soft my hair feels and how yummy it smells when I use it.

Ok, I tried it all over my hair last night.....I dunno.

I was trying not to overdo it, but I had to use more than normal, just to feel moisturized. I woke up this morning, and my hair felt less moisturized.

Maybe I could try using it as a leave-in or something.

I remember it smelled good but I also remember I threw it out and had alot of it left... Cant remember why though.... :nono: I gotta stop smoking crack... It really messes with my memory :yep: (just kidding!) I really cant remember why I didnt like it but then again back then I ONLY bought products based on what they smelled like LOL I probably was using it all wrong! :look:

It works better as leavein first then maintain by additional application until your next wash.

I wear my hair pinned in a protective style daily so this helps me retain moisture as well.

its a must when i do wash n go's. also when im rocking a straight do, i'll wrap my hair and put some on the surface. hair looks great and is moisturized.

I liked it but it made me shed alot *probably because of the protein* I switched to ORS Olive Oil Moisturizer and I won't be going back to Elasta QP Mango. I like ORS better.

I'm relaxed and I use it as a moisturizer every night w/no problems. Not greasy and it leave my hair straight.
