Im finding it a PITA to pin curl my hair every night since I got the Dominican BLowout... never mind Im DYING to co-wash...

my mom suggested I dry rollerset my hair with the magnetic rollers... I remember she used to do that nightly when I was a kid... made me wonder does anyone do that in this decade?

I do it when I've rollerset my hair and it's too late, or I'm too lazy to take them out at night. Especially if I'm want my rollerset perfect for the next day I'll sleep in them because I suck at pincurling.

I have. It was interesting you have to lay just right for it to be not that bad. My hair takes to long to air dry and to long under my old faithful hood dryer. I also used the big purple colored ones(i could not fit under my hood)

I sleep with in them sometimes...

but I can sleep anywhere, on anything, anytime, with any noise. :yep: I'm just like that.

I roll my hair every night with the ones with the clip/clamp whatever you want to call it, and I have no probs.

Last night, I set my hair, airdried, and fell asleep w/a head full of them. It was uncomfortable.

The most I will do is sleep with one at the end of a ponytail and wrapped with a satin scarf.

Check out Pookie's thread and tutorial for very easy pincurling. :yep:

When I airdry, I do it overnight and always sleep in my rollers. There are ways to sleep in them comfortably. :)

My mom does if she's wearing a roller wrap. It's the only way her hair will hold a curl bc it's so heavy. When I was relaxed and was growing out a short layered cut I slept with rollers most nights. Or I would roll one night and then wrap the next one. Then I'd keep alternating it so I could get a break from them sometimes. I never quite learned how to pin curl til this day.

I've done it in the past. One of the most uncomfortable things, but I just got used to it. Glad I stopped now though.

As long as I'm sleep....I sleep GOOD lool. I can sleep with hard rollers nooo prob! I mess up my hair when I don't because I sleep so horrible:grin::grin:

:yep: I sleep in them when I need to prolong the life of the style I'm looking to achieve. Beauty hurts, yall!

If I use the rollers with the snap, it is much easier for me to sleep in because of how sturdy they are. You gotta do whatcha gotta do!

I'm a natural, and when I wanna stretch out my hair, whether it's in twists or loose I sleep on the rollers. They aren't exactly comfy, but they get the job done. I have slept in them nightly for sometimes 2 weeks at a time. I don't do it as often now though since my shrinkage is working more in my favor :)

Me too! Rollers with the snap and i kind of use GLAMAZON's method and roll one or two days, then wrap one or two days in order to keep some volume in my hair.

I can't pin curl and I'm not willing to try either. Sleeping in rollers works for me and has for a long time.

I can pretty much sleep in anything too. A bonnet dryer, shower cap, wet hair, rollers of any type. No pain, i'm used to it and in the morning it takes under 5-7 minutes to take rollers out, style and GO!
