The reason I was asking she had some beautiful hair which she kept in braids ans she never gave her hair type because she felt it divided us as women of color.Anyway her hair must be super long now and it was all natural and she had these big chunkywaves and she was put in 4a/4b category but why not 2b/2c or 3b/3c?I was in the hair salon and saw this little girl with so called 4b or 5b hair and hardly shrunk up at all, it is nice to see the variety in black hair and it's versatilty YEA

Any Thoughts?

Yeah, I had asked about her a few months back. Wondering if anyone remembered her or if they know of the site she was talked about starting....hmmmm

It was a site to sell her artwork. It did not display her hair. Sometime last summer she reappeared on naturallycurly.com, but only put up her original photos (actually I resent them to her since she lost them and she reposted them). She hasn't been seen since. Her hair is definitely 4a/b. The braids and length had stretched it out.

Heya, Yesiam and Peachtree sent me a link to this thread. Just wanted to say I'm touched y'all still remembered me

My hair is doing fine. I had been braiding consistently for a while, so I desided to take a short break from braids, February to July. That was an adventure (I'll have to post about it

) My hair was just brushing the top of my waist (about 3 inches below the bra strap) before I hacked it down...I have an obsession with blunt, neat ends.

My time is short these days (and my hands are sooo inclined to pick up scissors) so I'm back in braids for the summer, I may keep them in until next August (2004), by then I should have enough to cut blunt to the waist.

PS-Stryed, thanks for sending the pics
