Does anyone own a 1/2 inch or 3/8 inch flat iron?

What brand do you have? Does it heat well? Are the plates close to the edges? I think I've asked this before. I tried to search but couldn't find anything. I'm looking to find the smallest flat iron available to press my roots when they show.

Yes, I do! I got it from Sallys -- its a 1/2 inch that I use for my roots only when I am stretching my relaxers.

I think it works very well and carries me through weeks 8-12 (If I ever can make it that long)

It the plates are ceramic and the lips overlap so you get a good grasp of the roots..I just looked at it - It is called Porcelain series.

Hot tools has a 1/2 inch one that looks like it gets all the way down to the root on new growth... I just ordered one, so I have yet to try it.

The Wee Chi is great. I am natural but I flat iron regularly. The wee chi is great for my edges and also my part to make it smooth. It gets close to the scalp without burning.

I have the HAI TWIG and its AWESOME! I use it on my edges, as well as to curl my grandmothers hair.

I now own one. I bought the 1/2 inch by Solia. I really like it when I have lots of new growth, but I still use my 1 inch FHI for the most part.

ITA!!! I'm natural as well, and that sucka gets ALL my roots and edges...
