I haven't used mizani, but I have been using sebastian laminates shampoo and conditioner since i was relaxed, and it still does an excellent job of moisturizing. The conditioner is wonderful and detangles beautifully. Anyway, get the small bottles and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
