I have solid shea butter that I need to mix with another hair product, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it into a creamy consistency. I really don't like working with it because it crumbles so easily.

I usually melt mine in the microwave before I use it or just rub it between the plams of my hands in order to soften it. Hope this helps!

Ditto... I melt Cocoa Butter this way. It doesn't take long so watch it while it's heating up.

Forgot to add that you then let it cool, and then stir it when it hardens again.

I melt in the microwave and mix it with oil. Freeze it, then melt again. Then it usually turns out creamy.
