Does anyone have the ENTIRE (or close to it) Carol's Daughter product line?

Hair product junkie reloaded!
I never used their products before but I just got a catolog in the mail and it looks like they have a lot of goodies I may want to try......but me, I be wanting to buy the whole product line so my stuff be matchin'.

Her products are too expensive for me to have ALL of her stuff, Ive used samples and then gotten bigger sizes of what I really liked.

I agree with Babygurl. Her stuff is quite expensive and continuing buying her products would make you broke fo sure. I have a couple of her products and I'm not too thrilled with either one of them. I can find cheaper products or create my own which would yeild me the same if not better results.

I have used alot of her products. That's because I am a PJer. :lachen: I like some of her products that I used them on my son when he was a baby. I had her whole line at one time. I do not now because everyone on this site since I joined has caused me to start trying other products. :D

I wasnt impressed with her hair products that much. They werent bad, but nothing I would buy again. What I do buy is her body balms. I have dry skin and they help my skin alot. I like the coconut vanilla body balm.

Agreed. I only buy stuff for the body from Carol's Daughter because I don't like her hair products at all.

I only have the healthy hair butter and the hair milk which I really like. I am with everyone else her products are a little too expensive to have all of them.

I only liked the Kizzi hair pomade. Strangely enough it's actually lighter than the Hair Honey and definitely leaves a better sheen. The Hair Honey didn't do anything for my hair except make it greasy. I probably won't buy any of those products again. I also think the S&H charges are too high.

The hair products did not do much for me, but it did well for my son. I do like alot of the body products. For the dry skin use the honey pudding with lavender and nettles.

I love Some of Marguerite's Magic, Khoret Amen hair oil and the hair balm. The hair balm is like a heavy, creamy oil and smells wonderful, it is now a staple alongside my hot six oil. Her products are expensive but I love them.

I've used quite a few of her products. I've been on a quest to find natural products. I was going to do a separate post about her products, but I'll post here. I actually bought them from a local specialty store called "Cranky Princess".

* Tui Hair Oil - I really love the smell
* Hair Milk - It's okay :ohwell:
* Body Spray Oil - Excellent
* Rosemary Mint Poo - It made my hair hard & tangly; doesn't really lather; watery
* Mimosa Hair Honey - It's okay :ohwell: My newgrowth likes it better than my relaxed hair
* Black Vanilla Rinse - I love the smell and it seems moisturizing; nothing too special though

I think I really like their hair/body oils and fragrances most. I'm not a big fan of their hair products.

Thanks for starting this thread. I got her catalogue. Excellent marketing piece. Her products seem really good.

I bought the HHB and Hair Milk last year. My hair liked the HHB even though it's super heavy, and it's especially useful when I have a ton of new growth. You have to make sure to work it through really well or a white film will remain on the hair. The Hair Milk? Can I tell you that I hate the smell? Ugh. It's moisturizing enough, but the smell is something awful. Many people have posted that they can't take the scent of WGO, but that's nothing compared to HM.

All in all, her stuff is okay. I wanted to try CD products after hearing so much about them on the boards, but the products are nothing special. I live in NY, so I can visit her store pretty easily. IMO, the products are nothing to go out of the way for. Other products accomplish the same moisturizing purpose for me, and a heck of a lot cheaper, too.
