Does anyone do the Crown & Glory Method sans (without) braids?

Has anyone done the shampoo routine on natural hair without braids? If so did you shampoo your scalp also with the big loose braids she reccommends for shampooing in?

Also just curious how it is working for you?

I do now but I'm still trying to figure out what my regimen will be. I think I'm going to have either baby twists or box braids in for 2.5-3 weeks at a time. I'll go a week in buns and sets in between. I'm not washing my scalp for the twists because I want to avoid tangles. I'm using a ORS herbal shampoo the the scalp and rinsing my hair and adding a bit of conditioner on the ends. The box braids I'll wash once a week. Hopefully this will work out.
