Does any1 use Lush Henna?

Hey, I was wondering if any1 uses this, (caca blocks as they are known) if so do you have to wait until the colour releases like other brands as it says jus add hot water....but do i wait for color release as it as when I used it before it remains dark green.

When I used it..I didn't have to wait.Just Add hot water then let it sit and then mix it around.

Is this BAQ henna? Cuz I was reading somewhere this weekend that it's not BAQ and now I'm confused....

Lush henna is not BAQ. But it contains no metallic compounds someone stated that had called the company. I also heard that Lush was looking for a different henna supplier so I'd call and ask them if it still has no metallic salts or compounds. I'd do a strand test also to be extra safe.
All that said I'm relaxed, use the henna in Noir, and love it. It gives me a nice soft black color, not jet black like I was hoping but dark enough. The first time I used it I didn't like it since I didn't rinse it out all the way ( I reccomend rinsing in the shower or preferably bathtub, the sink won't cut it)and left my hair dry and dull. The second time I used it I loved it because I actually rinsed properly and used a better deep conditioner afterwards. It left my hair really strong when I was around 4 months post relaxer, I was barely losing any hair which is extremely rare for me.
About the color release part, I'm not sure about how to go about that... I've read that hot water or heat will help the dye release faster so maybe if you used hot water ( as directed) and sat under a dryer or put a hat on and did chores, you'd get better results. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will answer though. HTHS!

I also use the Lush henna in Noir. I always strand test before each use. I love that it gives me a great black color.

I heard that you have to be careful when using hot water or putting your henna somewhere warm because if it's too hot, you can actually cook the henna.
