...or do I have to make it? I like the Giovanni Vitapro Leave-In and I usually have to dilute it so that my hair doesn't get so stiff with repeated daily use. I was just wondering what I could do to avoid wet hair on cold mornings and yet revitalize the coils/curls for the day.

I would prefer to avoid 'cones and proteins as well for a daily moisturizer. It just seems like all this stuff builds up on my hair so quickly.

HHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM-

This is a difficult one!

I just discovered Fructis Smoothing Milk (but I think it has 'cones in it) mixed w/broccoli seed oil. It's lite & simple, but does the trick.

I had to find something too bcuz my hair doesn't like oils (they seem to be way too heavy).

HTH

You have GOT to get Qhemet Biologics Sidr Butter Balm!!!

It has no cones and no oil and is SOOOOOOOOOOOO moisturizing it isn't even funny!!

I once used it on my lips.... to die for!
I wish it was sold in a large tub to use as lotion.. One wouldn't get ashy for the next two weeks!

Anyways, it is highly recommended

Hi RelaxerRehab,

You might like Ojon's Revitalizing Mist. It is a lightweight, mostly-water spray. It also contains oils and very light proteins and some cones, but doesn't leave hair stiff and full of build up. I use it twice a day on my relaxed hair. I'm sure it would perform equally well on your pretty natural curly/coily hair. It has a wonderfully fresh scent too.

This is the one item in my arsenal that I wouldn't want to be without.
I have posted the ingredients below:

AQUA (WATER), CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, ELAEIS OLEIFERA (PALM) OIL, BAMBUSA VULGARIS EXTRACT, HONEY EXTRACT, PANAX GINSENG ROOT EXTRACT, HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN, DIMETHICONE PEG-8 ADIPATE, LAURETH-4, CETRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, BENZOPHENONE-4, DMDM HYDANTOIN, TRIDECETH-9, PEG-40 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL, AMODIMETHICONE, C 12-14 SEC-PARETH-7, C 12-14 SEC-PARETH-5, DIMETHICONOL, ETHYLHEXYL COCOATE, POLYSORBATE 20, BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAL, HYDROXYCITRONELLAL, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, HYDROXYISOHEXYL 3-CYCLOHEXENE CARBOXALDEHYDE, LINALOOL, HEXYL CINNAMAL, CITRONELLOL, LIMONENE, BENZYL SALICYLATE, BIOTIN, GLYCERYL LINOLENATE, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, GLYCERYL LINOLEATE, LECITHIN, GLYCOLIPIDS, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, CI 16035 (RED 40), CI 19140 (YELLOW 5), PARFUM (FRAGRANCE)
