I am currently using Aphogee 2 minute reconstructor followed by the balancing moisturiser and I am not sure whether to completely rinse the products out of my hair. I do at the moment but was just wondering whether I shoud. Any ideas?

IMO You should def wash the 2 min reconstructor out but since i'm transitioning almost 1 year I have started leaving a little bit of my mosturizing condish in. My hair feels great!

aphogee is a stron protein so maybe you should rinse that out. but as for me. i rinse out the conditioner i use during the cowash. when i get out of the shower i have another conditioner (that is supposed to be a rinse-out) that i use as a leave in. i apply it to my hair in 4 sections as i do with my cowash conditioner and leave it in

I made up my own little rhyme to help me remember:

Protein condish- rinse that ish
Moisturizings okay- let it stay

:lachen:

ditto. :yep:

I'm not a protein gal. I don't think you should EVER leave protein in your hair unless you just want to buzz it off and start over. Moisturizing conditioner, I always leave in some...I am natural, so I don't know how that applies to relaxed heads, so I can only give it to you from my stand point.
