I use the shampoo, smoothies, leave-in cond, hair butter, elixir and balm and I love them. What do you use?

Well, i had purchased the hair milk and the jar of orange oil stuff (can't remember the name, it smells really good) about a year ago and they were just "ok" for me. I'm almost finished up using hair milk, I use it on my daughters hair every night and morning. The products aren't that spectacular for me, but it's good to hear that there are some out there having wonderful experiences.

I use to use the healthy hair butter but I stopped because the beeswax was too drying. I like the lisa hair elixir but I dont buy it because of the price! $18 :nono:

I don't like any of her hair products. Overpriced beeswax :ohwell:

I wasn't impressed, the hair milk dried out my hair, the rosemary shampoo was horrible. It left my hair a tangled mess, the Mimosa Hair Honey is just ok, the hair smoothie, again just ok. I got better results from my Motions CPR & it costs a lot less. The only thing I kinda like is the Lisa's Hair Elixir, but I still wouldn't buy it again, I give Carol's Daughter a thumbs down.

I was wondering about this... I saw that product on the website, but the balm was the only thing I was interested in that was in stock. I think the balm is  but reviews of Carol's Daughter products seem to be mixed at best.

the healthy hair butter and honey hair mimosa only work for me when i straighten my hair, and it works FABULOUSLY that way. the shine and silkiness is incredible.

the balm and the milk made me gag.

I purchased some awhile back before she got "BIG" and her products were way too oily. The shampoo was ok but i have/will not purchase again :nono:

The hair milk and healthy hair butter were just ok. I've found better products since then.

when i first got into hair care i used her healthy hair butter everyday and was in love. my hair was doing beautifully. when i got my second jar the smell and texture were way off. so i went to sephora to check it out and low and behold it was different. i dont use it now because when it changed the texture to me seems more like wax than butter.

i looooooooooove the hair balm but after my hair thinned (a bleaching mishap) its too heavy for me to use as often as i used to. but it gives great shine.

i tried the tui smoothie before it became new and improved and i hated it. it was so hard to smooth over my hair and it just sat there, granted i just left it on for an hour without heat because back then i didnt have a drier but still.....

the oils are really nice but pure coconut oil is much better for much less.

the some of margarites magic is REALLY nice. i use to put it on my scalp to thicken my hair and it INSTANTLY makes the hair feel fuller. it cools the scalp and can double as a moisturizer, although i only used it on the scalp.

the rosemary shampoo stripped my hair something terrible. will never try again.

the black vanilla leave in smells soooooooo good but does nothing. its not good or bad.

the mimosa hair honey, i didnt know what to do with this. i thought it was a grease but i dont know. when you buy it from sephora the tester is always soft and almost creamy but when i get home its brick hard. so i just didnt know what to do with it. if it stayed the way it was in the store i would repurchase.

i have the new and improved tui smoothie but i havent used it yet. the texture does seem alot easier to spread and the ingre. seems good. i also have the tui shampoo which i have never used but its suppossed to be moisturizing.

i will continue to repurchase the balm(because nothing beats this for the winter) and i may repurchase the SMM becuase it did thicken my hair and i love the way it felt on my scalp.

forgot to add that i also LOVE the hair milk. i only use it on the summer when i do my co washing and wet bunning everyday. when i was transistioning for 11 months this made my curls pop and my hair so soft. i still have a bottle left so i cant wait until its co washing time again.

I tried those too.

Very interesting to hear the reviews on these products. I really havent used anything else but Pantene R&N and BAKA natural laxer so makes since. Thanks Ladies!

A hot mess. I used the Saturday morning special, needless to say. The hair butter was the only thing that I found to be Ok. Way over prices and IMO it other products out there for cheap that can do way better. The Sea Moss Shampoo, left my hair tangles and felt like a brilo pad. The Black Vanilla Leave in Conditioner, just seem like water and didn't help with the damage from the shampoo. The Tui oil was okay. However I never bought anything else from that site and my hair didn't miss it either.

I have been using CD for awhile now. I use hair milk and love it.I also use hair mimosa (yummy), tui hair oil, and hair butter. All I really like and will continue to buy.

I also love almond cookie and groove skin/bath products.

Hey Empress Ri! Don't straighten too much. I don't want to hear about you chopping off anymore hair you hear!:yep:

I currently use the elixir. I like it so far. I've only been using it for a week but its made my hair alot shinier. I have the tui smoothie but I haven't used it yet. From the bad things i've heard I dont know if I actually want to use it. I used the hair milk and black vanilla leave in conditioner on my son's natural curly hair which both made his hair extremely hard. They both went back to sephora quickly. Her products are great for some and terrible for others. They are expensive though. I probably won't buy it again.

lol TRUST ME you will rarely hear me straightening. once a year and that's it, only cause i get a professional trim. i got a...solia to help my hair NOT get all straightened permanently like it did before though. i love the curls too much to straighten them though!

I like the hair milk.

That was the only one of her product that I really liked.
I find her products overpriced. I can make my own and could get most of the ingredients that she charges for one product, for the same price. Way to expensive.

If there was a "decent" sale (there rarely is) I would get hair milk again.

IMHO I can do better with Hairveda, She Scentit, or Qhemet.

I've used Some of Marguerite's Magic a few times with good results. I didn't like the Healthy Hair Butter or the Mimosa Hair Honey.

I never tried the hair products but I love the almon cookie body souffle, my skin has never felt that good with other products. I'm mad its so expensive though. She needs to have a sale or give a coupon code or somethin lol.

I did look at the texture of the hair products and it didnt seem like it would work for me.

In my closet I have:

Healthy Hair Butter
Black Vanilla Leave-in
Hair Milk
Marguerite's Magic
Loc Butter???
Deep Con (forget the name)
Oil (forget the name)
another oil (in a pump - also forget the name)

Right now, I'm use the HH Butter when I air dry (I go between CD & Hairveda, et als.). Gotta stretch these products as much as I can! I also use the loc butter when I flat iron (1x/every few months).

Everytime I think of trying them, a friend tells me the product in question didn't do a thing for their hair. :/ I hate my friends sometimes LOL

I used to use CD when I first did the Big Chop back in April 2007. I had the Rosemary shampoo, which was horrible, I don't remember any other time my hair has been this dry, stripped, and tangled (which was one heck of an achievement considering that I only had about 1.5-2.0 inches of hair back then).
I liked the Tui Hair Smoothie, but after I used up my initial jar it was sold out for almost a year, and by then I had found better and cheaper alternatives for my hair.
I thought the Hair Milk was fine too, but nothing spectacular to justify the price tag. The last two products that I used were Lisa's Hair Elixir and the Hair Balm (which is basically great-smelling beeswax), both of which I purchased only because of the Jada Pinkett-Smith "testimonial" displayed on the website at the time in which she claimed that these two products alone had grew her hair long. lol

...Ah well, you live and you learn

Natural 4ab and I loooove me some hhb it's my HG after a wash I put it on soaking wet hair and put in a bun it is the only thing that makes my edges lay down lol

I want to try the hair butter and hair milk but Carol's Daughter products seem to get bad reviews on here. I'll probley get them from Sephora so I can return them if I don't like them after use.

I devoted an entire category and month to reviewing four of her most popular products on my blog. It was a lot of up and down in terms of satisfaction for me.
