Do you use a flat iron w/ teeth/comb

I have a mini 1/2 Chi one, but want one w/ a wider base and a comb for quicker styling. Any ideas?

I have a Maxiglide with a teeth plate but switched to the smooth plate because too much hair was being pulled out.

ETA: I have the MP (?) It's large but not the largest one available. The XP is larger but the MP is a good size.
