Do you think Motions Mild relaxer is strong enough for course hair?

The reason I ask is because my hair is color-treated, and although I will get it professionally relaxed this time, I want to start doing my own perms at home (I've done many before). My hair is course, but I do not want over-processed hair. Any opinions? /images/graemlins/look.gif

I have color treated and it is very thick. And I use a Motions Oil Mos this was my first time using it and it it took very well in my hair. I b/c I usually use Mizani ( hairdresser perm). But I have like it alot.
