My new growth used to come i like spirals in some spots. But overall My hair was not spiraly. Only in the crown area.

depends how big/small the spirals are. pen sized? fat marker sized? or penspring?

my hair was very wavy like large s waves (comparable to 3b) during my transition but now that im natural i still do have some big parts (fat marker sized) at the top middle/back of my head but its mostly 3c down to pen sized springs in the back bottom.

and when i was relaxed my newgrowth came in straight till month 3 then i d start to see the curl form.

since ur ten weeks post do you have any pictures of your newgrowth in a dried state unstretched?

Why dont u try stretching for a really long time? - like 4 to 6 months to see more of ur texture and to give ur edges a chance to rest and try to grow back. If you REALLY end up liking what u see in that time, maybe transitioning is for u.

well.. these are my old transition/natural pics.

is my hair during transition

is after going natural, def not big thin wavy hair like my transition photos may have suggested. you can still kindof see the same sort of curl pattern but its in a more shrunken form.

My hair was pretty much like silvergirl's too. My new growth would be wavy and take about 3-4 months to really show up; while transitioning my hair spiraled less than it does now that it's completely natural. If that's anything to go by, you can expect your hair to be coilier when natural than when transitioning or looking at an inch or two of new growth.
