I don't. I think you'd get better results with bantu knots. They're (usually) heatless and last longer to boot.
 
Cute, but takes too long to do and too much heat for me.

Bantu knots are a better way to get this look.

These were EXACTLY my first thoughts! I do like the style, but curling those thin strands of hair and all that heat. No mamm! :nono: And my hair comes out just like that with a bantu knot out. Much safer IMO.
