When I used to work, the thought crossed my mind.

A few of the ladies in the office did.

Well, they also went gymming, so it made sense that they kept an extra set at the office.

I never even considered doing this until I saw one of my coworkers in the restroom one morning with a spread of makeup and hair care items on the counter in front of the mirror. She had her jumbo curling iron plugged in and was doing some barrel curls  I must have had a funny look on my face because she laughed when she saw me in the mirror and explained that it was too humid outside and her hair would always be a frizzy mess by the time she got to the office (this was in the summer). She has super thick coarse hair (she's latina), so I guess I don't blame her.
If I'm worried about my style falling, I put it in a ponytail or bun until I get to work, then fix it up when I get there. I don't keep any hair tools at work.

Not to jack your thread GG but should do women really flat iron and curl their hair at work? I brush my teeth after I eat and get funny looks, LOL.

Yep, I used to carry a flat iron with me to my firm back when I was abusing my hair with heat, I used to re-flat iron if it poofed up because of the summer humidity......damn I got some resilient hair:lol:

I definitely wouldn't recommend doing that.

No, I don't. I only use my flat iron after my hair has been shampooed and deep conditioned. If my hair needs to be flat iron, it'll just have to wait until wash day, no ifs ands or buts.

I have been known to stash a scarf in my bag. 15 mins under the do-rag and it's less poofy.

Before LHCF I would have considered it. But now, absolutely not. Thats way too much heat for my hair.

No, I've never considered it. Especially now, I have hair goals and I don't want any set backs.

No, even i'm not afraid of heat, i don¡t think is good enough to need it that much, that i need to have a flat or curling iron in the office.

No way! Even before LHCF I would NEVER flat iron/hot comb dirty hair. That's just begging for breakage (at least for me).

Nope, heat has to be infrequent for my hair to survive. I could never apply it that much, I'm sure I'd have bald patches if I did so.

I have a flat iron in my classroom closet. It's been there for over 3 years, but I have never used it. When I am teaching, my hair is the least of my concerns.

Umm I don't have a relaxer so I carry my electric straightening comb with me in my bag when I have my hair blown out.

I sweat...Sue me. :look:
