I've been shedding alot more as my hair gets longer and i'm noticing that my scalp itches like crazy until i brush all the shedding hair out with my paddle brush. Is there anyone else here who does that and what causes that to happen?:ohwell:

I'm a pretty heavy shedder and yes I do get the itchies. :yep: I also notice that the longer my hair gets, the greater my shedding seems to appear. I think it's because a bunch of longer hairs looks bigger than the same number of shorter hairs would. Also, I find that putting a little oil on my scalp helps with the itchies. What are you doing to combat the itchiness?

I co-wash or i just spritz my scalp with water and lightly comb out the shedding hair. Sometimes i put peppermint oil in my DC to help fight the itchies.

As of late I've had the itchies really bad. I spray my scalp with Wave Nouveau to try to stop it, but it just itches like crazy. Most times I just go and co-wash it. The water is soothing.

Maybe you should try mixing some MN with a little Sulfur 8 to help with the itchy scalp. Just a thought.
