I have this steamer, I bought it from Beautybeautyusa. I'm not sure why you need a converter of adapter. Mine has a regular cord that you just plug into the wall.

My steamer came from China. It's 220 volts. I think it can be made in 110v or 220 volt.

The plug looks like a regular u.S. plug, but it's 220 volt.

I've had the steamer for about 2 weeks now. Just asked the company that I purchased it from if they could recommend a vendor for the converter. They told me about an ebay seller. Waiting on their response & I should be able to purchase the converter this week.

Only downside is that I'm going away for 3 weeks & I won't be able to use my steamer until I return.

Hey ladies. I bought this steamer and received a converter with it. It does have a plug that looks like a regular USA plug and when I plug it in the light comes on whether I use the adapter or not. I have not been able to get the steamer to work though. I have been going back and forth with the company and they want me to send extra money for a replacement. I may try it once more and if it still doesn't work then I am going to Paypal's conflict resolution department. If anyone has any info on making this machine work PLEASE let me know. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this company at this time.
