Do you have a Maxiglide

I'm relaxed and I absolutely LOVE my maxiglide. I have never ever smelled a burnt smell. I keep the setting on 5 and I use it with the teeth only. Pic in my sig below after maxiglide.

Same here, I think the burnt smell might be from leaving hair in the teeth. I love my maxiglide!

I was about to nix the idea til now, I think we have the same type of hair..

I'm relaxed and I have a Maxi and I love it. I had to get used to using it cause it has very wide plates but I have had nothing but good results on my hair and my daughter's natural hair.

I can even get my new growth straight without using the plate with the little teeth. Its a keeper for me.

Thanks for the tip, I've been battling the burnt hair smell, never thought to clean it as I go. Other than that, I love love love my Maxiglide. I really feel like it hydrates my hair.

Maxiglide is my precious bun . I love it. I can get my hair straight w/ one glide and on setting 1. It gets my hair straighter than when I was relaxed. It's the best product I've bought for my hair ever!

Yep! I use mines on setting 1 as well and it gets my hair very straight, usually with one pass. It is bulky but those teeth are indispensable... I ain't even lookin at another flat iron.
