It annoys the ish out of me. When I see people with my type of hair on their head [and it doesn't belong to them] I get some sort of feeling. It makes me want to scream heaux take my hair off your head. :hardslap:

I realize this is silly, but I can't help it. Can somebody please point me to the direction of where they sell type 4 hair? Because I'm sick of seeing type 3 up for sale.

I was walking down the street, and I saw all these ladies walking around with my hair texture. I don't believe because I'm a 3c, and my hair lies down flat just with water, that makes me superior. I just don't want my hair texture to become what happened to white folks. Their hair being everywhere in the shop :look:

I like my hair being a rare breed, and people running up to me. I DO NOT want my hairtype to become the new weave. We need to put a stop to this :nono:

I know somebody is going to come in here and say I'm being hairist, when I'm not. Just for the record I believe in hair equality. I have a dream that one day people will judge each other not on the size of their curls but whether they have split ends or not.

no. weaves are temporary styles. I have kinky curly wefted hair, synthetic hair, and lace wigs. Just like I have kinky straight, curly, and wavy weaves and wigs too in human and synthetic. As well as different colors.

since when is 3c hair rare? you act like you have virgin unicorn hair growing out of your scalp or something.

Please let's keep this discussion nice, and sweet.

I'm not trying to cause offense. I just believe my hairtype is under attack in the weave market. Can we please discuss this like adults?

Girl, now you know I don't care if someone is walking around with fake hair that looks like mine. They bought it, I grew it. However, I do give people a side eye when they preach about the evils of relaxers and weaves, but will throw in some kinky twists in a second. It's all fake hair to me.

how is it under attack if people find it beautiful enough to install?

That's the thing though. I want it to be exclusive. I want people only who are born with it genetically to be able to have it. I don't want my hairtype to be cheap like 1a hair.

I want it to remain precious.

They can still see the beautiful waves that form on my bald head.

I know what you're trying to do, and I'm not going to fall for it. I abide by the rules of this forum. I am a well-mannered individual, who loves God. I am just sharing my thoughts with the members here. If my comments offended you, and you are among the people who purchase my hair, I apologize.

No need to get ... you know... meow all up in 'ere.
